THE AYRSHIRE COAST & CASTLES

It only takes about 40 minutes or so by car from Glasgow to reach the stunningly beautiful Ayrshire Coast. Culzean Castle & Country Park, is a wondrous 260-acre estate perched on the Ayrshire Cliffs, popular with visitors of all age groups.

THE HELIX: HOME OF THE KELPIES

This has been one of the biggest success stories of recent times for Scottish Tourism. The Kelpies are one of the most visited visitor attractions in Scotland. OUTLANDER TV SHOW – DAY TOURS

One of the longest day tours from Glasgow, it is certainly worth it if you are a fan of the Outlander books or TV show. This 10 hour tour departs three days per week and departs from and drops back to George Street in Glasgow. Highlights include: “Fort William” (Blackness Castle), “Lallybroch” (Midhope Castle) and Falkland, a picturesque village used for filming scenes in “Inverness”. Tours must be pre-booked in advance.
