The Merchant City, a prime Glasgow location

The Brunswick is located in Glasgow city centre's Merchant City and is in easy reach of most things you need including history, culture, shopping, bars, restaurants and businesses.

On our doorstep we have the Ramshorn Theatre and Graveyard, the Tron Theatre, St Mungo's museum of religion and cathedral, the oldest house in Glasgow, Gallery of Modern Art as well as small contemporary venues like Transmission, the Glasgow Print Studio, the fantastic Modern Institute and the new Trongate 103.

George square and the city chambers are just a few minutes walk away.

A city of great music venues

The Brunswick is the perfect base location for attending the many events on in Glasgow every day. The Glasgow Royal Concert Hall is nearby as well as other great venues such as Glasgow's famous Barrowlands, SECC, The Armadillo, Carling Academy and ABC.

Glasgow is rich with historical attractions and culture

Places of interest include The Burrell Collection on the south side and Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum in the west of the city. They are only a short rail or bus ride from the city centre. While staying with us you can not miss the opportunity to see the stunning architecture of Charles Rennie Mackintosh. Within walking distance of the hotel you can visit his famous Glasgow School of Art and the Willow Tea Room.

If you want a lovely open space we have Glasgow Green, steeped in history with the Peoples Palace and Winter Garden in the middle. The famous necropolis and clydeside walkway are walking distance from the hotel.

Glasgow has been voted as one of Britain's best shopping areas with the likes of Armani, Ralph Lauren, Cruise, Agent Provocateur, Jigsaw, Mulberry and All Saints. These are all located close by including 3 great shopping malls: Prince's Square, St Enoch Square and The Buchanan Galleries.
